Let’s have a quick look at what’s coming up for the rest of this month on Being Anne.
I’m a little behind on my reviews with all the wrestling with the new site – I hope to have reviews for these two lovely reads done very soon…
Tomorrow – as well as my third and final giveaway – I’ll be reviewing Echoes of Time by Anne Allen, which was published on Monday 15th. I really enjoyed this one – and I’ll be looking at the other books in the Guernsey Novels series too.
On Monday, I’m delighted to be joining the summer blog hop for Faith Hogan’s My Husband’s Wives, with my review and a lovely guest post. I’m reading this one at the moment, and really enjoying it.
And more guests to follow:
- On Tuesday 23rd it’s Dane Cobain – something a little different, with a poem written specially for Being Anne.
- On Wednesday 24th I’m joined by Novelista Louise Marley – I’ll be reading her new book, Trust Me I Lie, in October.
- On Thursday 25th, it’s Wendy Janes – a lovely supporter of Being Anne – with a guest post I think you’ll really enjoy: I’ll be reading and reviewing her short story collection, What Tim Knows, in October too.
On Monday 29th, Hemmie Martin will be my guest, as part of the tour for Garlic and Gauloises – and I’ll also have a giveaway for you.
There are spaces there, aren’t there? I’m hoping to get a lot of reading done and reviews written. These are the books still on my list for August…
I’ll do my very best, but if I don’t manage them all, they’ll move to the top of my September reading list. And particular apologies to Judith Barrow. I planned to read and review her lovely trilogy (Pattern of Shadows, Changing Patterns and Living in the Shadows) in July, then in August – but I’m afraid it’s one commitment too many, and will be coming up in September/October instead. Oh, and if you’re looking for Gill Paul’s The Secret Wife – which I’m really dying to read – I’ll be reviewing it for my stop on the blog tour on 8th September.
Don’t know about you, but I always think sleep’s a little over-rated…!
What a busy bee you are, Anne! So excited to see Hostile Witness in your TBR list – whenever it makes it to the top! 🙂 xxx
It’ll get there – it’s just that the month seems to be slipping away faster than I expected!
You just made me feel so much better about my still to read/review pile! Some good looking books in there – please don’t make me want more ☺
Ah, but that’s one of the reasons I do this Jill….?!!
I’m in awe of your schedule, Anne, and that you consider it has spaces! 😀 Good luck with catching up on your reading. Still loving the new blog site!
Glad to hear it, Cass! And after last month, that schedule’s a walk in the park…
