#Spotlight: Rosie’s Garden of New Beginnings by Linda Corbett @lcorbettauthor @rararesources #blogtour #newrelease #romance #RespectRomFic #RosiesGarden

I’m so sorry everyone – I’m still struggling to get myself back into gear after my long absence (did I perhaps mention my two months cruising the Med?). When the lovely Linda Corbett contacted me to ask if I’d like to review her latest book –  Rosie’s Garden of New Beginnings, independently published on 24th October, and available for kindle (free via Kindle Unlimited) and in paperback via Amazon in the UK and US – I just couldn’t see any way I’d be able to manage it. So I was delighted when Rachel at Rachel’s Random Resources asked if I’d like to join the blog tour just by sharing a spotlight post – and I’ll look forward to catching up with the book later.

Having met Linda at an RNA Awards party a few years ago when she was still an aspiring author, I absolutely adored her first novel,  Love You From A-Z (just £1.99 for Kindle at the moment) – a heroine who totally captured my heart, and a really original and well-told story. And, once I’d got over the fact that there were no guinea pigs anywhere in the story (I so loved Snickers in the first book!), I equally enjoyed her second, What Would Jane Austen Do? (this one’s free via Kindle Unlimited) – sheer fun from beginning to end, a beautifully written enemies to lovers storyline, a cast of characters who wouldn’t be out-of-place in Austen’s Regency world, plenty of laughs, and a few touches of real poignancy along the way. So I’m really sorry I’ll have to put my excitement about her latest book on hold for a while – but let me share the storyline…

Rosie Steadman needs a new start. It’s over a year since her husband died, and there must be more to life than her job in retail. When she spots an advert to rent a garden, it feels like the perfect project.

Media celebrity Connor Forbes is currently lying low in his brother’s flat after a public break-up and, with job prospects drying up, finding someone to look after the overgrown garden is the least of his problems.

For both Rosie and Connor, it’s a strictly business arrangement. But can they keep it that way?

As Rosie gets to know the man beneath the tarnished image, she finds it harder to resist his charms, but she’s been hurt before and Connor has a reputation – can this really be a second chance at love?

Yes, that looks like one I’m really going to enjoy – and it might just be one you’d like to try too!
