We’re fast approaching that time of year when I need to sit in a darkened room, sucking my pencil, working out which books are actually going to make it onto my final Book of the Year list. I’ve enthused about so many books this year that it’s going to be incredibly difficult, but one book is absolutely guaranteed a place – and that book well might surprise you! Sheryl Browne’s The Rest Of My Life was everything and more that the perfect chick lit read should be – a fantastic read, a hero in Adam who’s still in my thoughts, and sheer enjoyment from beginning to end. The Rest Of My Life was recently at #2 on the Amazon Top 100 Paid Women’s Romance Fiction best sellers list – so there is justice in the world after all! – and has now been shortlisted for the Love Stories Awards 2015.
